“What I enjoy most about chairmaking is how individual each chair becomes – sometimes the grain is special, sometimes I have a problem with the drilling angles, sometimes a customer has a particularly low table and we need to adjust the chair seat height and the back slat heights need altering to look just right – the list is endless.”
